All pieces come together to make one giant, colorful artwork that everyone helped create.

The design process will include these steps:

Then, identify signals (glimpses of the future we already see today) and drivers (what made the signal possible)

Complete your artwork

Before you finish, look at your piece and ask:

1. Can something stand up, stick out, or hang?
2. Can materials layer, cross, or overlap?
3. Can your weaving move away from the cardboard?

What to try:

1. Bend materials forward
2. Let woven parts extend past the edges
3. Stack or lift pieces using cardboard or folded paper

Art does not have to stay on the surface. Your artwork can use space, depth, and movement.

2. Adjust spacing and orientation so the mural feels connected.
3. Step back and look at the whole artwork.
