S – Safety
- First Start using a glue gun only after the Day-1 safety orientation.
- Stay clear of the hot nozzle — never touch it.
- Set the glue gun down only on its stand, never on the table.
- Secure and wear your gloves!
A – Always Protect the Work Area
- Avoid pointing the glue gun at yourself or others.
- Always scrap paper under your project and the glue gun
- Arrange cords so nobody trips or pulls them accidentally.
F – Fuse & Finish Properly
- Fuse sticks: warm the new glue stick’s end slightly with the nozzle and insert the warmed end first so it bonds with the old stick.
- Flow of hot glue: squeeze gently; don’t overload joints or dribble on surfaces.
- Finish joints neatly so glue stays hidden for clean-looking projects. Finish gluing by unplugging the glue gun and letting it cool on the stand.
E – End & Store Safely
- Empty leftover sticks and store them in the labelled container.
