Looking at your storyboard as a guide, make a list of all of the visual assets that you will need to make for your animation

Select the type of style (clay, paper, everyday objects or legos). You could pair styles, for example the background could be drawn by hand and the objects made out of clay.
Gather materials (Model Magic, other small prototyping materials) and begin creating your models.
